Facts about me :

• I love FRIENDS sitcom which is an energy booster for me, they make me laugh all the time 🙂
• Paris and Venice is my dream place to visit, I really hope I make it one day to the Eiffel tower 😉
• As much as I can cook, I hate doing dishes and specially someone else’s plate. My hubby know it well, if he leaves his plate just without realizing he will be kicked off badly 😛
• During my marriage time I had lost 15 kgs 😉 and now I have gained all of it back 😛
• Me and my hubby are totally opposite, I am a big time chatterbox and he is extremely quite.
• I have just started learning to drive car and get lots of scolding from my hubby 😛
• I met my husband for the first time just 5 days before our wedding 🙂 have just seen him in skype earlier.

It always motivates us when some one recognizes us. Though I am just a 4 months old blogger have got introduced to many more bloggers. They read through my work and appreciate me, some fellow bloggers give me good suggestions. I thoroughly enjoy this blogging. I enjoy reading each one of your blog. To be frank I don’t get into Facebook as much as I wait for my fellow bloggers recipes 😀 these days. Thank you everyone.

Writing Process Blog Tour

Vidya @ Traditionally Modern Food invited me to participate in the Writing Process Blog Tour. Vidya’s blog as her blog name suggest is totally a traditionally modern food blog. I really admire her patience in preparing her recipes and way of writing her posts.  She is one of my regular readers and religiously gives comment, very thankful to her. Thanks Vidya for this opportunity.

A Blog Tour basically is a way to help your readers understand your view on the blog. The blogger who invites you to the writing process answers 3 questions about their blog and asks you to do the same. The cycle continues.

 

1. What am I working on?

I always believe that everyday is a learning process. I learn from the mistakes that I make and this is one more quotation(tuned) I like ” Practice and mistakes molds a person” .Till few days back I had no idea of baking and now I am learning it slowly. Food photography is totally new to me again starting to learn this. Refine my blog ways of writing posts.

2. How does my work differ from others of its genre?

Everyone is unique in their own ways. I started this blog just for time pass which has totally changed now. I have taken it seriously and I am loving it. To give away some points that I work on differently is to get healthy recipes. I try to get the health benefits of the ingredients that I use in my recipe. I add up my personal touch why I love that recipe, add my chit chats 🙂 I try to build any recipe from scratch if possible, with the available raw materials. For any traditional recipe that I give I always try not loose its originality just by substituting some other healthy item (if the recipes demands to change for the health benefits).

3. How does your writing process work?

Few recipes are planned , some of them are on the go when I prepare. If I start planning I will first sort out the ingredients write it down. Then assemble them get it pictured. Then I start picturing every step possible. Once I end up preparing with the recipe, start with getting the health benefits written down. Then start the blog post. I post the recipes only if I am satisfied with the outcome. My hubby is so sweet that he never interrupts me in anything and he leaves me to explore and be independent. This is such a great boon for a person like me.

This is my second time of Versatile Blogger award, nominated by Lori @ Creating beauty in the kitchen I am sure no one would need an introduction to this lovely lady 🙂 she is extremely a kind person I have seen. • I love Friends sitcom, I can watch it anytime 🙂
• I watch at least 2 to 3 movies a week either English movies or Indian movies
• I can’t sleep easily 😦 have to toss around for hours…
• I can talk for hours together without sleeping also, but my hubby seldom talks 🙂
• I can’t tolerate someone who tries to dominate me, my concept is everyone is equal and must be treated equal.
• I hate to do someone else’s eaten plate, I feel disgusting 😦
• I like plain sober cotton clothes, I feel very comfortable with it.

Yes I love Flowers, As I have already posted about it. This time I am giving a different one. I love Cartoon characters. Specially Mickey and Minnie. When I see these character I get so excited and would start jumping 😀 When we went to New York city, we were roaming around and there were some people dressed as Mickey and Minnie. That’s it, I got so excited and jumped ,went near them and asked my hubby to get pics.  He was surprised and told me I guess I have married a kid 😀 I argued with him that many like cartoon characters 🙂

Tell us something about your favorite book(s) or authors. And I’d be very pleased if you talk about your favorite fantasy if you have that taste.

In my old Liebster award I had mentioned about this author Kalki Krishnamurthy a Tamil writer whom I love the most. No change to it now.

7 facts about me :

• I got married on November 7th 2013, been in the wedlock for 7 months now 😀
• I am 5’1″ of height and my hubby is 5’11” we have 10″ of height difference 🙂
• I love to walk, specially in the evening time, its so plesant and refreshing
• I have this habit of washing my face before sleeping , I don’t know why but I am used to it and my hubby laughs at it 🙂 But I feel its a good habit LoL!
• I am crazy about nail paints, I had too many when I was in India, had to leave them with my sister 😦 she was telling me that we can have a nail paint shop opened with what ever you have left hehehe 😀
• I somehow feel uncomfortable to cook in someone else’s kitchen , I feel they would try to control me asking how do you do it this way, it has to be done other way, let me give you hands 🙂 it spoils the total cooking. And I feel totally helpless at the end, not getting desired results hahahaha 🙂
• When I was born I was just 1.5kgs/3 lbs of weight. I was on observation for more than 3 months, things changed later hahaha, being the first grand child of my family ,I am pampered and celebrated by everyone at home. I am simply blessed 😀

I used to read a lot of novels. Sidney Sheldon, Dan Brown are my favorites in English. Since my mother tongue is Tamil, I read some Tamil novels also. I am crazy about the author named Kalki Krishnamurthy, who has written Tamil novels during 1960 – 1970’s. I used to read his books without break. Any Tamilian would know about this novel called Ponniyin selvan written by Kalki which is a historic novel. Its totally a 5 book series. I wish Kalki could have written more books 🙂

I also like creative people. Show us how you are creative!
