Hello, Vanakkam , Namaste
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
I am basically from Madurai in India. A food lover from childhood. I love eating and try variety of food. Cooking was something that I used to just manage when no one is at home and I am left alone. I have been working in the IT industry for around 8 years, eating lifestyle turned out a little worse in the first few years when I worked. Never late, I realized that I should cut down Pizza, burger, junk foods etc etc…Which is when I started cooking myself and realized that I am not a worse cook 😀 Started taking healthy food, lifestyle changed and I could feel energetic and healthy.
After my marriage, I had no choice but to quit my job and move to US. For a person who had always been busy working with tight schedules for quite a long time, having a complete free time was relaxing for the first few months which turned to be a lot of frustration soon. To get rid of this boredom and to engage myself better , I started cooking and trying out a lot of recipes. My hubby is a regular blogger and he is the one who gave me the idea why don’t you start a blog yourself and that is how this blog started in Feb 2014.
My first inspiration in cooking is my grand mother, she is the best cook for me. The authentic recipes, chettinad recipes that I post is from her. There are some recipes which I think and prepare. Some of them which I read through other blogs, get to know from friends and family. I try to get healthy recipes most probably. This is totally a vegetarian based blog, exception would be Eggs. I get a great pleasure in sharing. Food photography is totally new for me and started to learn. Please do give me your feedback for my recipes. Thanks again for stopping by.
